See how we use Artza Box for meaningful, faith-focused conversations and family time.

It’s time for another Artza Box review! If you have never heard of Artza before, it’s time to get acquainted.

I love a good subscription box, but this one is truly one of a kind. It isn’t just a box of beautiful things (although it is that, too).

It’s a carefully curated collection that tells a story of a people, a place, and a faith. It’s a glimpse into the Holy Land, no passport required.

In this review, I want to show you how we use Artza Box in our home, how we share it with others, and what you can expect in each box.

What is Artza?

In my opinion, Artza is more than a subscription box – it’s an experience the entire family can take part in.

Each box typically offers something different: a different region of Israel to explore, different artisans showcased, different foods and aspects of the culture to learn about.

But they all have one thing in common: they help us to consider the roots of our faith, the land where Jesus lived and ministered, and where He will one day return.

Note: I received a free box in exchange for this review; however, we’ve also purchased these boxes as gifts and have greatly enjoyed partnering with this company through the years.

What’s in the box?

We’ve opened many unique items in our Artza boxes, and the Jesus Trail Box this fall was no exception.

Take a tour with us through our box, and see what’s inside!

Olive Leaf Dish and Olive Oil Seasoning Mix

These two items are meant to be together, as you can see in our photo.

Olive oil is synonymous with the Holy Land. With this seasoning mix, you can enjoy your favorite bread dipped in oil and herbs as an appetizer or dinner companion.

This hand-painted olive leaf dish is a beautiful addition to the dinner table. I think it could be used as a spoon rest as well!

Lavender soap

This fragrant soap is made in small batches in Israel. The imprint represents the theme of this box (The Jesus Trail), for a one-of-a-kind lather!

Coffee!!

Holybrew coffee to accompany your morning quiet time? I didn’t need convincing.

Holybrew Elijah Roast coffee.

I’m a bit of a coffee snob, but this one checked all the boxes. It was very smooth, with notes of dark chocolate and walnut.

Such a fun and tasty surprise in this box!

Landmark Game & Bonus Activity

Follow the clues and see if you can identify important sites in Israel. Scratch to reveal the answers!

Large illustrated map game.

The bonus activity includes landmarks and a separate map for little ones to cut and paste.

Smaller map game for kids.

Both of these will be great additions for our homeschool morning Bible time and geography lessons.

Wooden cup

This little hand-carved piece made from olive wood is meant as a reminder of the first miracle Jesus performed, turning water to wine at the wedding in Cana.

Display with wooden cup and handmade artwork from Israel.

It also reminds me of the Last Supper Jesus took with his disciples, and the life that was freely poured out for my sin. (Thank you, Jesus.)

The “Peace” artwork shown was from a previous Artza Box. It’s always fun to pair these items together and reflect on their origin and meaning as they are displayed around our home.

Cinnamon Caramel Popcorn

The kids and I were intrigued by the unique flavor of this “Heavenly Pop” popcorn.

It was really good, and perfect for a movie night treat. (Except we sort of devoured it before said movie night. Oops.)

Artza Discount Code

Don’t forget that an Artza Box subscription makes a great gift for your loved ones for birthdays and holidays. We’ve given boxes as gifts, and also gifted individual items from our boxes.

Whether you want to enjoy your box with your family at home, or bless someone else, we think this is one subscription that is worth a try!

Use it as a teaching tool, a way to reflect on the history and significance of the Holy Land, and a reminder to pray for the peace of Israel.
